Auction Listings

The Auction Listings page is your gateway to discovering and participating in auctions. Auctions are where you spend your earned points on things valuable to you. Here's what you can find:

  • Upcoming Auctions: A list of upcoming auctions so that you can plan your bids in advance.

  • Active Auctions: Currently active auctions you can bid on.

  • Points Available to Spend: Quickly check your spendable points to make sure you have enough to bid.

  • Auction Information: Each auction listing includes:

- Auction Title: Quickly identify what's being auctioned. - Auction Description: A brief description of the item or experience, including any constraints or criteria. - Current Bid: The current highest bid. - Enough Points Indicator: Indicates whether you have enough points to bid. - Auction End Date: The date and time when the auction will close.

Browsing Auctions

To view the auction listings:

Go to Community in the side nav > click Auctions > browse the Upcoming and Active tabs.

Auction Page

When you click a specific auction from the Auction Listings page, you're taken to the Auction page, where you can find out more and bid. Here's what you can see:

  • Team Indicator: Identify your team or group participating in the auction.

  • Spendable Points: Quickly check your spendable points before placing a bid.

  • Auction Information: Each auction page includes:

- Title: Quickly identify what's being auctioned. - Description: A brief description of the item or experience, including any constraints or criteria. - Current Bid: The current highest bid. - Enough Points Indicator: Indicates whether you have enough points to bid. - End Date: The date and time when the auction will close. - Minimum Bid Indicator: The minimum bid required to participate. Minimum bid amounts can change from auction to auction. - End Date Countdown: A dynamic countdown timer showing how long the auction has left to run. - Bid History: Review the bidding history to plan your next bid and see who else is competing.

  • Place a Bid: Place a bid directly on the Auction page to take the lead and, hopefully, win the auction.

Participating in Auctions

To place a bid on an auction:

Go to Community in the side nav > click Auctions > click an auction to open it, and continue with the steps below.

  • Note the minimum bid increment and the current bid. Your minimum bid will be the current amount plus the minimum bid increment.

  • Enter at least the minimum bid in the bid field and click Place bid.

  • Your bid should now be the leading bid.

- You won't be the leading bid if: - Someone placed a higher bid just before you did. - The auction closed before you clicked Place bid.

Auction Notifications

Stay in the loop with automatic notifications sent when auctions close. You'll also receive notifications if you've won the auction or been outbid. Access your notifications from the top-right menu bar.

Outbid Notification

Use the link in the notification to navigate back to the auction to view or place another bid.

Auction Close Notification

If you've won, you'll receive a notification telling you who to collect the item from.

If you're the manager who set up the auction, you'll be notified who to deliver the item to.

Dismissing Notifications

Once you've read a notification, you can mark it as read. This moves the notification to the archived tab.
