Team Leaderboards
Healthy competition is driven by several leaderboard features. We detail these and how to use them below.
Selecting a Team
If you're a manager viewing the leaderboard, you'll see a team selector that lets you choose any of the teams you manage. As a team member, you can only view your own team's leaderboard.
To open a leaderboard:
Go to Community in the side nav > click Leaderboard.
Leaderboard Information
A leaderboard is rich with information about team rankings and team member effort across engagements. Some information is configured by the administrator, and some by team members. We cover each leaderboard component below, including what can be modified through settings.
Team Name
If you view the leaderboard as a team member, you'll see the team name on each team member's row. You can only view your own team's board.
If you view as a manager, the team name is visible in the team selector. You'll also see the team name on each member row.
If you select a parent group or team encompassing multiple teams, the team name varies on each team member row according to who is in which team.
Next Period Refresh Countdown
To stay informed about when the leaderboard will refresh for the next period, a countdown timer sits at the top of the leaderboard. The administrator sets the leaderboard period, which repeats each cycle until the period is changed. At the end of a leaderboard period, a new leaderboard is created, and the rankings and points totals of the previous leaderboard are preserved to recognise the team's effort.
Leaderboard Date Range
The refresh period determines the date range displayed on each leaderboard. This date range is generally associated with a week-by-week or month-by-month cycle.
Viewing Previous Leaderboards
You can view your team's previous leaderboards by navigating between the Previous and Next buttons. These show how performance has changed over time and provide a baseline for measuring current ranking movement.
To view previous leaderboards:
Go to Community in the side nav > click Leaderboard > click the Previous/Next buttons to navigate back and forth between leaderboards.
To access leaderboards from the past, click Previous at the top-left of the leaderboard. If this button is inactive, your team may not have any past leaderboards.
