How do I filter the user list?
Required Feature Flags
The following permissions are required to use this feature:
Required Permissions:
Manage Users (
admin.org.users.manage) — to view and manage the user list
If you're managing a lot of users, you'll want fast ways to filter the list. evaluagent doesn't currently support saving and naming custom views, but the user list does have built-in tabs, search, and sorting that handle most filtering needs.
This guide covers what's available and how to use it efficiently.
Where to Find It
Go to User Management > Add & Edit Users.
Filter by State (Tabs)
Above the user list there are tabs for each user state:
Active — users who can currently log in
Inactive — users who've been deactivated but whose data is preserved
Pending — users created via SCIM or bulk import who haven't been activated yet
Each tab shows a count. Click a tab to switch between states.
Search
Use the search bar above the table to find users by:
Forename
Surname
Username
Email address
Team name
Role names
Type your search term and press Enter or click Search. Search and the state tabs work together — searching in Active only returns active users, for example.
Sort the Table
Click any sortable column header to sort the list:
First click sorts ascending (A–Z, oldest to newest)
Second click sorts descending (Z–A, newest to oldest)
An arrow shows the current sort direction. The sortable columns are Name, Username, Email, and Role(s).
Quick Status with the Attributes Column
Each user row has an Attributes column with icons. Hover over an icon to see:
Whether the user has an email address set
Whether they have any roles assigned
Whether they have an employment start date
Whether they have a 3rd party system (switch) ID
Whether they have reporting access configured
Their last login date (or "never logged in")
This is the fastest way to spot users with missing setup, especially after a bulk import.
Saved/Named Views
evaluagent doesn't currently let you save a named view of the user list. Each visit to the page starts with the default state (Active tab, sorted by surname). If you need a repeatable filter, the closest options are:
Bookmark the page in your browser — tabs and sorting reset on each visit, but the page itself loads quickly.
Export the list and filter the CSV. See How do I export the user list?.
Use search consistently — searching for a team name is the quickest way to focus on one team.
If saved views would help your workflow, raise it with your evaluagent customer success contact.
Tips
Use the state tabs first to narrow scope before searching.
Sort by Role(s) to spot users who don't have any roles assigned.
Hover over the Attributes icons after a bulk import to find users missing setup.
For very large user lists, search is faster than scrolling.
