Here you'll be able to access all lessons that you and other colleagues have created.
You can organise your lessons by creating folders and then storing certain lessons together in a named folder.
To create a new lesson, click the button Create content, and you'll be directed to the following screen:
By assigning a title to your new course and clicking Continue, you'll be directed to the next screen
Lesson settings
On the right-hand side of the screen, you'll be prompted to configure a number of lesson settings.
Description: Some additional text to describe the content of the lesson
Categories: An additional way to group lessons for reporting purposes
Cover image: A file image which is attached to the course to help identify the lesson and engage learners
SCORM package: Here you can upload a lesson from a third-party LMS.
Course-base points: To gamify the process of learning, you may choose to award points to learners when they complete this lesson. This is entirely separate from the points learners earn by completing quizzes within the lesson to calculate their quiz score.
Estimated duration: When you've completed creating the material and tested it, you will be able to document how long it should typically take a learner to complete the lesson.
Pass mark: If you add a quiz to the lesson, each completed quiz will result in a percentage score. If the result is higher than the pass mark you set here, the lesson will be classed as a "passed" lesson.
Content & Library - add this training item to my learners' on-demand course library: If this setting is set to ON, then this course is accessible to everyone (without needing to be assigned) and can be completed anytime by a learner proactively. Such courses are made available via E-LEARNING > My learning area > Explore.
Certification: - This course includes a certificate of completion. If this setting is set to ON, then a certificate is awarded to the learner on completion of the lesson if they pass the lesson (See Pass mark above). Certified Lessons (those lessons which can result in a certificate) are also referenced as Compliance lessons and can be reported on separately in E-LEARNING > Track > Compliance.
Auto-assign as a manual - Auto-assign converted manual after learner completes this course: If this setting is set to ON, then this lesson can be converted into a PDF manual, which can be accessed by the learner at any time via E-LEARNING > My learning area > Learn > Manuals.
Quiz settings: choose to randomise answers in quizzes and choose whether to provide learners with the correct answer to a question if it is answered incorrectly.
Lesson content
On the left-hand side of the screen, you'll be able to start designing the lesson by adding a lesson module or a quiz.
Add a lesson module
Click Add + and select Module, and the screen will refresh as follows.
Add a module title and an optional description and then start adding content to the module by clicking the Add section button to reveal options for adding all sorts of media to the section.

Add as many modules and as many sections within each module as required.
Add a quiz
A quiz consists of questions.
Enter the text of the first question, select the question type, assign the attributed points if the question is correct, and finally create a list of possible answers, one of which is tagged as the correct answer.
Repeat this process to add as many questions as you need.
The maximum overall score for the quiz is ultimately calculated as the sum of all points awarded for correct answers on each question.
A completed quiz will return a sum of all question points, which, when divided by the sum of maximum available points, results in a percentage score for the quiz.
Preview and Saving
You can preview the lesson or save and exit at any time by clicking the relevant link in the top right-hand-corner of the screen.
