In this guide, we'll walk you through the capabilities of our Engagement report, a valuable tool for managers to gain insights into the gamified environment. This feature lets you track engagement statistics and make data-driven decisions to optimise your gamification strategies.
The Engagement report lists metrics against each engagement that your team has triggered in EvaluAgent. For more information on Engagement Events, see [here].
Here's what you can find:
-
Engagement award statistics: See how frequently each engagement is awarded within the specified time frame.
-
Dropped Engagement statistics: Identify instances where engagements are dropped due to anti-gaming violations.
-
Report filters: Refine your report to provide accurate insight.
Now, let's explore how to access and use the Engagement Report feature:
Accessing the Engagement Report

Customising the Report

Viewing Engagement Data
The Engagement report has been designed to provide insightful data about how your team is engaging with EvaluAgent and using it to improve their conversation quality. Each row in the engagement report originates from the Engagement Events that your administrator activated in the Community gamification settings. Descriptions of these engagements can be found in the tooltips on your profile page, levels and points tab.
The data displayed can be grouped into two;
-
Engagements that result in points awards.
-
Engagements that have been dropped due to anti-gaming rules.
Below, we explain how to interpret each group and other essential aspects of the report.
Engagements resulting in awards
The “Awarded” and “Awarded points” columns provide information about the engagement events that have resulted in a points award to a team member that count towards their totals and spendable points.
-
Awarded: Provide a count of the number of times the engagement has resulted in a points award within the constraints of the team and date filters you have set.
-
Awarded points: Provide the total of points awarded from the awarded engagements within the constraints of the team and date filters you have set.
Engagements resulting in dropped awards
The “Dropped” and “Dropped points” columns provide information about the engagement events that have not resulted in a points award due to breaches in the anti-gaming limits set on each engagement configured by your administrator.
-
Dropped: Provides a count of the number of times the engagement has not resulted in a points award due to breaches in the anti-gaming limits within the constraints of the team and date filters you have set.
-
Dropped points: Provide the total of points that have not been awarded from the dropped engagements within the constraints of the team and date filters you have set.
Engagements displayed
The Engagement report displays all engagement events processed by the Community gamification system, resulting in awarded and dropped points. It displays information about engagements that are both active and inactive, where:
-
Active: Currently configured as active in the Community gamification settings per the set-up by your administrators.
-
Inactive: Currently configured as inactive in the Community gamification settings, not awarding points. However, it was active at some point and awarded points for engaging with EvaluAgent.
